Cookies Policy

One cookie, and why
Lirran sets exactly one cookie: a first-party session cookie that remembers you are signed in, so the platform knows whose library, balance and renders to show. It is strictly necessary — without it you could not stay logged in from one page to the next — which is why it is set without a consent banner.
What it holds
A random session identifier. It does not contain your email, your password, your card or anything you wrote; on its own it means nothing to anyone else. It is marked secure and http-only, so it travels only over encrypted connections and cannot be read by scripts on the page.
What is not here
No analytics cookies. No advertising or retargeting cookies. No social media pixels, no third-party cookies, no fingerprinting and no tracking of what you do on other sites. We do not build a profile of you for anyone.
How long it lasts
The session cookie stays fresh while you work and lapses after a period of inactivity. Signing out deletes it at once. Our payment processor may set its own strictly necessary cookies on its hosted payment page while you pay; those are governed by the processor's own policy and do not follow you back here.
Your controls
Every browser lets you block or clear cookies. You are free to do so; the only consequence is that you will need to sign in again, and the platform cannot keep you signed in while the cookie is blocked.
If this ever changes
Should we ever want to add any other cookie, this page will be updated first, and anything that is not strictly necessary would only be set with your consent.
